We’re Daiquiri and Celina. And in January 2017, we felt overwhelmed. We were pissed off, annoyed, confused and defeated with trump’s administration.
And then it was February, and we created Resist45.
We were tired of battling our cousin’s ex’s brother’s coworker in piecemeal Facebook shares, and needed an outlet that was tangible and completely our own. Resist45 is the birth child of frustration. These are our opinions; hear us roar.
We’re both law students who feel deeply about human rights and good government. We’re both Tejanas (Texas + Mexican) with colorful stories and experiences that have shaped our political socializations.
